This is what I woke up to on mother's day.
French toast, cheesy eggs, bacon and a glass of milk! All made by my husband.
The babies woke up soon after breakfast was served. The first thing Molly said to me was "Happy Mother's day". Her eyes weren't even opened good. Precious!
Chad fixed my plate and brought it to me and he and I sat down for breakfast. Duke was shortly behind. It took him a few minutes to wake up and then he also told me happy mother's day. I couldn't believe they remembered the little reminder they got from Nana.:) So sweet!
But the sweetest thing was the gift that they gave me.
(A little background on the gift... Chad and I bought our house 5 years ago. Duke was 15mo old and I was pregnant with Molly. During our move into the house, Duke put his hand on one of our living room windows and left a perfect little handprint. I have never cleaned it off. I told Chad that as we are packing to move (we've sold our house) I will be sad to leave that sweet little handprint behind.)
So... for mother's day..... Chad had the perfect gift! Earlier in the week, he waited for the sun to set in just the perfect spot and when it did, he took a picture of that sweet little handprint on my window and framed it for me to take to the new house! I cried. This is probably the most precious gift I have ever recieved. Along with the frame, he gave me a card that the kids had recorded their sweet little voices on and $100!
(He also folded 3 loads of laundry!)
I carried this frame around all day Mother's Day and all day Monday showing everyone.
I am so in love with this picture!
We split the rest of the day between Chad's mother and my mother.
It was a fabulous day.
And to top it all off, both of our mother's loved their gifts!
My husband and babies are so special!
